Steinitz's Efficient Attacking Masterpiece

Steinitz's Efficient Attacking Masterpiece At the 1895 Hasting super tournament, ex-World Champion Wilhelm (or William) Steinitz won a brilliancy prize for his Round 10 demolition of the German master Curt von Bardeleben. Von Bardeleben decamped from the playing hall after Steinitz's 25.Rxh7+, and the former World Champion demonstrated the decisive continuation to the delighted English crowd. This game is an important Giuoco Piano game, a model in attacking efficiency, and a must-know classic for any chess enthusiast. #Chess #ChessInstruction #ClassicChessGames
