Police in Orlando have released body camera footage showing a driver suspected of marijuana possession dragging an officer with his car while doing 60mph.The incident took place back on May 9 when officer Sean Murphy pulled over a car driven by 25-year-old Zavier Askew near the intersection of College Drive and Willie Mays Parkway at around 1am.According to police, Murphy found what appeared to be the remnants of marijuana on the center console and asked Askew to get out of the vehicle. 'I'm gonna f***ing kill you!'As Askew continues to drive at speeds reaching 60mph, Murphy yells at him, ‘Dude, you're killing me! Stop, stop! It's attempted murder!' Share this article Share Askew pleads with the cop to let go, telling him over and over again, ‘Please, officer,’ but Murphy continues to cling to the steering wheel.'Stop the car so I can get out,' the cop tells the driver.Murphy then notices that the car is headed towards a dead end and warns Askew that he is going to crash.According to an arrest affidavit cited by ClickOrlando, Askew collided with a parked car and finally came to a stop.Murphy had to tuck his legs into the car to avoid getting pinned. Askew (pictured in his mugshot, left), was jailed on more than a dozen counts, including attempted murder. He is being held without bondThe video ends with the 25-year-old suspect lying face down on the ground and having his wrists restrained with handcuffs by other cops who arrived as backup.Hours later, he was booked into the Orange County Jail on 14 criminal charges, including attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, kidnapping, aggravated battery on an officer, aggravated assault and possession of marijuana, among others.He remains in jail without bond.
