Don't See Particularly Negative Aspects In Renault Deal According to Reuters, the chief executive of the Japanese automaker said that Nissan doesn’t see any particularly negative aspects for it in a possible merger of alliance partner Renault with Fiat Chrysler. Hiroto Saikawa also said that the issue of whether the two companies should merge should be left to them. Saikawa told reporters that “This is an issue for the two companies to decide." The comments come after Fiat Chrysler on Monday proposed a merger-of-equals with Renault.
