Re-hydrating and Recycling The Wet Look To Make It Last Talk

I tried the wet look on my natural curly 4b/ 4c hair.
My hair looked wet and wavy but much tighter/kinkier!
I hope this video shows how the wet look on type 4 hair from Miss Torious P.O.V.s’ perspective held up. Watch the whole video series (Videos 1-7) for tips and tricks for how to get the wet look on natural hair.
My hair is 4b/4c and transitioning. The day before this video I did a wash n go and then stretched my hair out by detangling and then braiding it.
So, this is how I do the wet look hairstyle.
Instructions:
1) Wet/Saturate the hair completely with water
2) Squeeze out the excess water
3) Part the hair into 4 large quadrants
4) Choose 1 quadrant to start working with
5) Part off a small section from the quadrant you are working with to create a lock of hair
6) Slather gel of choice completely along the lock of hair from root to tip
7) Slather mousse of choice completely along the lock of hair from root to tip
8) Repeat STEPS #1-7 UNTIL the whole quadrant is complete
9) CHEAT: Spritz the quadrant to lock the products (gel and mousse) and moisture/ wetness from the water in place (THIS IS OPTIONAL)
10) COMPLETE the rest of the quadrants
11) Blow dry the completed hair if desired. I have found that the wetness looks “more” wet if the hair is allowed to air dry.
