July 2019 - APCOA recently introduced a parking charge for motorbikes after over 15 years of motorbikes parking for free at Guildford Station Car Park. APCOA made very little effort to advise motorcyclists of the change apart from some limited signage which was located away from the motorcycle parking area so very few if any motorcyclists were aware of the charge introduction. The first time that motorcyclists who park at Guildford Station Car Park were made aware of the introduction of the new charge was when they were give penalty charge notices (PCN). Motocyclists would have paid if only they were aware of the charge. Another example of the pursuit of revenue by APCOA without consideration for their customers and/ or their equitable treatment.
