Hello, I'm a gem cutter from Australia. In this episode of how to cut gemstones I will be faceting Quartz. This is my own design and it's called "The Tornadoes Eye". You will see me facet this gem from the large natural piece of rough crystal to an amazing sparkling gem. I cut this gem on a faceting machine called a "Facetstar" which is manufactured in Australia.
