KNUT, West Pokot Branch raise concern with the TSC over repeated introduction of policies

KNUT, West Pokot Branch raise concern with the TSC over repeated introduction of policies The Kenya National Union of Teachers, West Pokot Branch has raised the concern of teachers frustrations and lack of harmony in schools due to the repeated introduction of bad policies and wrangles.
The Union says that teachers are now fed up with wrangles with the Teachers service commission[TSC] which has embarrassed the entire process of the commission.
Speaking to the press in Kapenguria, West Pokot Knut Executive Secretary Martin Sembelo called on the Teachers Service Commission to embrace dialogue with Knut and iron out the impending issues.
“TSC should have a humane heart by handling teachers grievances. There is room for TSC to call Knut for dialogue and iron out the issues,” said Sembelo.
Sembelo faulted the Teachers Service Commission for solving its’ wrangles with teachers in courts.
“We urge the commission to come to terms with reality. The issue of courts will not be solved in courts but through dialogue. We have been in the Knut leadership for a long time but we have never had serious policies of exclusion like the ones we are encountering of late,” he said.
