TEENAGERS AND YOUTH CONVENTION MESSAGE TOPIC :
THE MAKING OF A CHOSEN INSTRUMENT

Beloved, there are few important phrases from the above scripture, begging for our keen attention:
First, “ The Lord’s will to crush him”. Most times, we often think and believe, that anything that is God’s will must be pleasurable and admirable. But I am very sorry to disappoint you, that most times, God’s will is not desirable or admirable to man in the flesh.
Let us be honest with ourselves, how can crushing someone becomes the “Will of God’’. To crush means: (1) To bruise (2) To compress (3) To wound (4) To cause discomfort (5) To press with force (6) To squeeze (7) To pound (8) To beat (9) To grid (10) To overcome someone completely .
However, becoming an instrument in the hands of the LORDS requires a lot crushing, beating and pounding. So that, the best can come out of your life for the LORD.
Second phrase, “His life an offering”. To become an offering for other people’s salvation, you need to yield yourself to God completely without any reservation or complain.
Can you imagine the high rate of cultism in our places of learning today, ranging from primary to higher institution. Why? Because these children of darkness are offering themselves to the devil to win more souls to his kingdom. Unfortunately, some lukewarm and worldly Christian youths and teenagers are victims
Third phrase, “God’s will prosper”. How can God’s will prosper in someone’ hands?
1. Let your life be a Christian message to others: If you see a supposed Christian youth wearing a transparent cloth, like a harlot, advertising every part of her body to the world; is she a godly message or ungodly message to the world?
Likewise, if you see a supposed Christian youth involving in immoral affairs leading to abortion; is she a godly message or ungodly message to the World?
The main reason why many Christian youths and teenagers are not making impart among their mates, is because many are not a true Christian message to the world. Before you can change anyone for Christ. Yourself must be true message of Christ.
2. You must not be conformed to the worldly standard. Many of us youths and teenagers today, dress like the people of the world, speak like the people of the world, do hairstyles like the people, keep ungodly friends like the people of the world, watch immoral films on our handset like the people of the world, disobey our parents like the people of the world. The Bible enjoys us not to be conformed to the world but we should be transformed unto the shapes God wanted (Roms 12:2).
2. Release yourself to God as an offering. There is no vacuum in nature, if you are not an offering unto God; you will certainly be an offering unto the devil to use.
Many youths and teenagers of today are very, very lukewarm and unserious in offering themselves to God. Most programmed that ought to be handled by youths and now being handed by our parents and grandparents. What a shame on us, that we are in Christ to make up numbers and not make impart.

PRAYER
1. Lord, deliver me from becoming ungodly message to my world
2. Lord, deliver me from every ungodly conformity to the world
3. Lord, deliver me from every ungodly life style
4. Lord, give me Grace to be a godly message to my world.
5. Lord, help me to offer myself as an offering unto the Lord.
