Lyrics
Frozen stone cold fingers
Pale white and shivering
Blinking and breathing providing me with enough
To survive
Unknowingly draped in
The warm fabric
The hearth inside vacant
With ashes littered from
the keepers cold from the fear to find the warmth
If I move then I know I have to progress
Or remain prey to wisdom
The needles protrude from the pillows
Soaked in crimson and red velvet
Conversing to the walls
Rather than with what is alive
Victims of my thoughts embodied
Manically bracing
Conversing to the walls
Rather than with what is alive
Wearing a new head each day
Just to take it in
Breathing, hoping to not disturb the peace
And dreaming for the tension to release
The icy grip pulls me up again and again
Just to take it in
The needles protrude from the pillows
Soaked in crimson and red velvet
No need to clothe a clothed man
Just to take it in
Where I am going
Know that I’ll be fine
If I don’t ever come back would it help if you know
That it was for the best
I’d rather ditch this former shell of myself
Because I knew it was only weighing me down
It’s just so much easier to pretend
