WATCH: Mueller tells Rep. Himes that Trump was intended beneficiary of Russian meddling

Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn., questioned former special counsel Robert Mueller in a House hearing on July 24 about who the intended beneficiary was of the Russian meddling into the 2016 presidential election, to which Mueller answered “Trump.” Himes added that “the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome.”
