Well, the pricing has been released for the 2020 Toyota Camry TRD. It's coming in at $31,995. I have to say that I'm shocked and impressed. That's quite a bit of car for the money. I really thought it would be based on the XSE V6, and then have all the TRD equipment added. That would have given a price increase of around $3000 to the Camry XSE V6, which is somewhat similar with what happened with the Avalon TRD. HOWEVER, Toyota threw a total curveball at all of us. They based this car off of the SE package. That means, less standard options, but a much better price point. It's been a long time since you could get a V6 Camry in a, "base" model car. You can still get the usual options (moon roof, blind spot monitoring, etc), you just have to pay extra for them. I did a video on the Camry TRD back in November of 2018... and I have to say I was completely wrong. I assumed this car would come in around 38K. And at that price, I don't think it's a great value. But since it's around 32K, well, that's another story! I actually think this is probably the best family sedan on the market. I'm impressed Toyota brought it in at this price. Thanks for watching!
