A Place of Peace Within – Journey Through the Kingdom Within You

What will you see there? Within us all there is a kingdom, and in that kingdom there are many places and people. There are angry people, there are happy people. There are dark ones and light ones. You tread in there, among them, along your inward journey, and as are we all, you are affected by them. Their whispers echo across the kingdom, both good and bad, negative and positive. And, there are wonderous places, and not so wondrous places. But in each of us, somewhere in that kingdom, there is a Place of Peace. It rests up high in the beautiful mountains, alongside of a clear stream, ‘neath the shade of many trees. And the rays of light filter through the trees and illuminate the mist. If you gaze into the stream, it will show you many things about yourself. This is a place I seek at times to rest my weary mind and escape the whispers echoing below. I let my mind go quiet as I take in the sounds and sights of this place of peace. Feel the distant thunder roll through your mountains. Follow the distant thunder and you will find your Place of Peace Within. Quiet the whispers in you and you will find what you seek.
