Allure of the Seas May Delay Return To Ft Lauderdale To Avoid Cat 3 Hurricane Dorian Royal Caribbean has moved the Allure of the Seas away from the high winds, waves and rain from Tropical Storm Dorian by changing it's itinerary. But there are more problems as the ship is operating at a reduced speed with only 2 of 3 azipods running and now we are hearing reports that the ship may delay it's return to Fort Lauderdale because Dorian is going to become a major catagory 3 hurricane with winds over 110mph. It could mean that the Allure of the Seas will remain at sea for up to 2 more days and 5000 potential passengers in Fort Lauderdale that will be waiting to board the ship for her next voyage will be stuck there while the hurricane passes the area.
