Vegetation Fires | Mount Tamborine and Nerang, Gold Coast, QLD. [Description]

Two separate vegetation fires occurred today (19.08) at 1220 and 1630. The first incident to occur was originally a vehicle fire that spread to nearby bushland. 636A and three RFS units from the Northern Gold Coast responded to the incident. It was over around 1340.

The second incident to occur was an out of control backyard fire, at 1630. 664A, 664B, 636A and three RFS units turned out to the incident. Unfortunately, we were not allowed close up to this incident, so we just have the two Mount Tamborine auxiliary units on scene.
