No one ever notices poor Abel. We can't imagine why.....he's so handsome, he's friendly, and he's always smiling. Yes, he's missing a leg. He came in back in the summer of 2018 with a cast dangling off of his front leg. It was badly broken and couldn't be saved. He has adjusted just fine and gets around like he doesn't even notice the difference. At just 2 1/2 years old, Abel has spent half of his life in a shelter. He was adopted once, but since he was constantly bugging the other dog in the home, the other dog finally got tired of it and they had a fight. Abel can get along with larger dogs that have an active, fun-loving personality like he does. He needs a cat-free home but positively loves people. He's fun, sweet, and well-behaved too. Please take notice of Abel. You just don't know what you're missing!
