Today around 80% of accidents are caused by errors made by motorists themselves. This is due to the large amount of information they have to process and respond to; however they can only deal with a small part of these.

Through the automotive market trend, that is the introduction of increasingly invasive electronic infotainment systems, I try to redefine the driving space with an AR HUD prototype. The main objective, at the base of the entire design phase, is to make driving safer by avoiding the introduction of misleading elements that could distance the eye from the road. The project took into account the prototypes currently being tested (e.g., Continental, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, WayRay, etc.) and all those that are the current technical limits related to AR HUD technology. The result is an interchangeable interface (light mode, dynamic mode and sport mode), flexible and customizable that takes into account the different driving conditions related to the weather, the light and the driving situation (e.g., highway, urban guide, circuit, etc.).
