EmpACT: Employment as a Practice, is a promising solution to increase self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and communication to improve staff experience and reduce turnover. After 6 months of using empACT with employees working in Downtown Seattle Association's (DSA) "second chance" program, DSA’s attrition decreased by 50% and worker engagement increased substantially.
