Reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes suffers knee injury in Chiefs' game vs. Broncos

The Chiefs announced that the reigning NFL MVP would not return to the game.

Mahomes hurt his knee on a fourth-and-1 plunge for a first down at the Broncos' 3-yard line with his team up 10-6 in the second quarter.

Mahomes limped off the field and went into the visitor's locker room at Empower Field at Mile High.
