Anti-government protests continue to escalate in Iraq

Tensions between protesters and security forces escalated on Tuesday in Basra and Samawa, Iraq, as hundreds of protesters burned tires and barricaded roads leading to government offices. Anti-government protests have been increasing since October, with at least two confirmed killed by Iraqi security forces.
