Displacement vs discharge current The plasma was running at 3.5 kV with Helium
Then the He was turned off and the video starts. We see the He being depleted and current goes to displacement current. At 0:31 Helium is turned on. At 1:17 Helium is turned off(but there is still a lot left in the tubing). It takes until 1:56 for the He to be depleted and the discharge to be extinguished.
