The "Consumed" series is my take on CPG news that I find interesting throughout the week. My goal is to add commentary, dive deeper, or bring more context to topics that often do not get covered by the traditional media outlets. Ep.62 covers The Vitamin Shoppe 2019Q3 earnings report that was released 11/6/2019. The Vitamin Shoppe was acquired by Liberty Tax, which is now known as the Franchise Group Inc.. In its final quarterly earnings report as a independent company, Vitamin Shoppe has opened up a new innovation concept store and rolled out some additional merchandising strategies. I talk about my thoughts on these and also my assumptions around the future of the Vitamin Shoppe.
