HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH TREES? How to Photograph Trees? Going on a trip with especially magnificent trees? Maybe the Redwoods in California, or the moss covered trees in Louisiana? It goes without saying that you want pictures, but you want ones that catch others' interest like it did yours! Anyone can take pictures of trees, what you want are photographs that will grab your viewer's interest, and bring back good memories.
Experiment. Try different things; any number of things. You may accidentally find your own niche, just that way. Some suggestions are: Macro shots of parts of the trees Lying on the ground, looking up Interjecting yourself someway into the photo Landscape shots Photographing the root system if they are showing Photographing the ground cover. You would be amazed at what is in the undergrowth (in a forest, anyway).
