First episode of the new series where I visit the record shops around me!:) We are now in East London and our first stop is Hidden Sounds in Bethnal Green. I was intrigued by the name of the shop and knew I was going to find a lot of gems. I was even lucky enough to find a pop up section with some Japanese Records. But other than that, shop offers you a great collection of 2nd hand records. Plus, upstairs is a very cozy coffee shop with a comfy living room atmosphere. Super friendly staff and well curated collection of disco & downtempo spanning from Zouk, Latin and Afro to Italo and Synth/New wave, with plenty of rare records that are reasonably priced.
