And, speaking of ailing fortunes, there was a bizarre moment during Thursday's clash that saw captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang mysteriously leave the field before resurfacing a few minutes later.
His side were forced to defend with ten men in his absence and interim manager, Freddie Ljungberg, confirmed that Aubameyang had made a mad dash for the toilet.

“He ran off and came back two or three minutes later,” said Ljungberg.

Languishing in 10th on the table, having earned just 19 points from their opening 15 games, something has to change.
