Paying homage to the visual journey of India's popular culture through images, photographs, cinema stills and other mass produced memorabilia the project “Image Journeys: The Conquest of the World as Picture” offers a critical viewing of popular Indian imagery at the turn of the twentieth century. Here we see #SerendipityArtsFestival2019 Visual Arts curator Jyotindra Jain looking through his staggering archive of collectibles spanning the last 100 years of Indian mass produced art, accompanied by Hanif Kureshi of St+art India Foundation (@startindia)
The exhibition will be on view at Adil Shah Palace from 15-22 December 2019. .
