Emmanuel Reggin, 18, was arrested at his home on Tuesday and has been charged with third-degree grand theft. Police say they found expensive electronic items that he did not deliver the previous day at his home in Miami, US. Authorities claim Reggin helped another UPS worker unload 5,500 boxes on Monday, including several packages which were dropped off at a business in Northeast Miami-Dade. According to the investigators, he hid the packages under a rubbish bin while his co-worker was not looking. He then allegedly went back at night and kept the parcels for himself. The boxes contained two Kindles, an iPad and another expensive electronic tablet, Mail Online reports. On Tuesday, Reggin was required to deliver more boxes to the same address and he hid several parcels under the bin once again. The packages contained a laptop and two PlayStation 4 consoles. The boxes were discovered before the worker went back to retrieve them and the manager of the business was alerted. He was immediately fired from UPS. Reggin appeared in court on Wednesday, where the bond was set at £7,500 ($10,000). According to 7 News Miami , Judge Mindy Glazer told the teenager: "At 18, you got a chance to work, and then you go and allegedly do something pretty stupid stealing the packages. She added: "I don't know if that's the path in life you want to take, but I would think not. I would think you would want to stay out of trouble, get a good job and have a nice life." If found guilty, Reggin Jr faces five years behind bars.
