How many times have you heard I didn't have a choice? My hands were tied! You probably have heard these and many similar each day. Maybe you have even uttered these words a time or two.
Well, this video is to help you understand that you always have a choice. When we say WE have no choice that means that we made a choice earlier and don't really want to take responsibility for that choice.
I had to sell my vinyl record collection to pay rent. I had no choice. Well, again there are choices being made here. You can choose to not pay that rent which is too high for you. You made the choice to live in a nice apartment that consumes half of your monthly pay. All because that apartment is in the hip part of town and you could live in a bigger apartment for half the rent if you lived 45 minutes away.
You wouldn't be forced to talk walk if you had chosen to put a new tire on your car when you saw that there a bald spot 2 weeks ago. Many times we feel like we don't have a choice and that is because we actually don't like any of the other choices that are presented to us. So we ignore those choices which in all reality is making a choice.
So when you think there is no choice there really is. Just look back on the events and see where you made your choice. Then take responsibility for your choice and if it ended up being wrong and you have a mess on your hands, then learn from that mistake. Then grow from your experience.
