We were invited by KTM India to ride the new 390 Adventure at Aamby Valley in Lonavala. Led by Adam Riemann and Ashish Raorane, we first had the opportunity to conduct a short road test to experience how the motorcycle handled on potholes, gravel and over a few speed-breakers after which, we were guided through a forest trail at the adventure park 19 degrees north. With a host of electronic features that are completely new to this class of motorcycles in India, the KTM 390 Adventure is probably the motorcycle that may encourage more riders to explore unpaved paths both in India and around the rest of the world too.
