📝 hello! two videos in a week who is she??
this has been a video i have wanted to make for the longest time - i grew up watching styling/fashion/lookbook vids here on youtube and always wondered if i could ever make something like that, and now here i am having finally done it! it feels super cathartic to have dipped my toe in making style content. i think my outlook on style has finally reached a place where i’m self-assured enough to trust my taste, and simply wear what i want when i want to. i was definitely not always this bold, especially with color, but seeing others pull it off and seeing visual examples always helped. i hope this vid sparks some new ideas for you about how you style yourself day to day!
editing this video took months on and off, but it brought me comfort during times when i felt anything but colorful, including now. outfits only last until you take them off and shed them like a skin, and same goes with thoughts and feelings. your mind is the closet, and it’s up to you to decide what to keep in there, cast aside, or take out to wear today. neither last forever.
when the world around you is grey, being a small beam of color can really make someone’s day, maybe even your own.
