Philips held their 2020 TV launch event in Amsterdam on the 21/22 of January. They announced new TV models including the OLED 805, 855 and 865 series as well as the LED LCD 9435, 9235 and Performance Series 8505 models. The 9 series will have audio from Bowers and Wilkins. The 4th Generation P5 processor was also unveiled with new AI features to help with image processing and motion, along with future technologies for image retention from static logos and a smooth gradation like feature for banding and low compression content.
