There's been a widespread reaction to the appointment of Professor Malegapuru Makgoba to replace Jabu Mabuza as an interim chairperson of Eskom. Makgoba is the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of KwaZulu-Natal and the country's first Health Ombudsman. He's been a member of the Eskom Board for the last two years.
