01.18.2020 | 2:43 AM | VENTURA - A man was shot to death atop the promenade parking structure, early Saturday morning. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting on the top level of the parking structure located in the 500 block of Harbor Boulevard near the promenade around 2:43 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a male victim suffering from a multiple gunshot wounds and attempted life-saving intervention.
Firefighter paramedics continued treating the victim before transporting him to the Ventura County Medical Center were he was pronounced deceased.
Officers spotted a vehicle matching the description of the suspects and attempted a traffic stop.
The suspects in the vehicle fled from officers leading them on a high-speed pursuit before crashing in the city of Oxnard.
Three suspects were detained and another fled from the crashed vehicle on foot.
