Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris engulfed in flames

The iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was on fire Monday and the blaze is now under control.

Firefighters battled the blaze that ripped through the historical cathedral. Officials told AFP that the fire could be linked to planned maintenance and restoration of the building.

One firefighter was seriously injured.
