Patient suffers from connective tissue actually distorting her muscles! How can a MELT method help? During Dr. Maggie Yu’s live show, viewers get the opportunity to ask questions to Dr. Yu and her guests. Our guest Sue Hitzmann is the creator of MELT method, helps and gives advice to a woman with complicated connection tissues problem, that is actually distorting her muscles. Sue explains how implementing MELT method and it’s lower body compression sequence could be extremely beneficial in this situation.

Fascia, when in dehydrated or stiffened state, is one of the primary catalysts for muscle imbalances and can cause sensory motor weakness. And with a lack of contraction our muscles start to cramp. Hitzmann explains that first thing you need to do in this situation is to start the stimulation of connective tissue.

The goal, then, is to get the sensory motor control back on track. Hitzmann explains calves exercises and lower body compression sequence that are part of her MELT method as one of the possible ways to help with this patient’s needs, and prevent future issues.
