We depart T82 in the morning rain and low ceilings just as things are starting to lift. We still end up with an IFR departure as there are storms in the area but we wiggle through with very few bumps and at 11,000 feet are above most of the bad stuff.
After the first hour we've gotten past the worst part of the storm and continue on VFR to KHEZ and our first and last fuel stop for the trip. After that we're on to home.
