Gary doesn't necessarily care that you are going extravagant things like "Burning Man" or "Coachella", he is just asking you what is the reason that you want to go. If it's because you enjoy the music and environment that is great! The reason Gary doesn't like those things is that he doesn't they don't help him unwind. He finds peace and enjoyment in building businesses and dealing with the everyday issues of running a company.
