Chandrayaan-2, India's second mission to the moon, was successfully launched by ISRO on 22 July. The mission began its 48-day journey to the South Pole of the moon where it will begin its quest for water. Chandrayaan-2 was launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
