Lahore: A meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, Usman Bazdar, wherein the matters related to Punjab Landcard Authority were reviewed.

According to details, Chief Minister Usman Bazdar chaired a high level meeting, during which time it was decided to rename Patwari's post in Punjab.

It was decided in the meeting that Patwari will be named as Village Officer, while Village Officer will get 14th Scale, recruitment will be through Punjab Public Service Commission.

Six months of training will be required after the recruitment, the Chief Minister also approved a laptop to the Village Officer, while it has been decided to make a Lahore tehsil a model tehsil for revenue.
