In this Light Circle specific instructions are provided for how to work with Jesus to clear denials--the desire for objective experience (with Spanish Translation). We begin with Light and continue our review of Chapter 20 of Jesus, A New Covenant ACIM—a new means given by Jesus to look directly at desire, which are secrets that deny Light that are below our awareness. In Light we look directly with Jesus at the desire to experience keeping secrets to hide the recognition of Light from ourselves. We ask the Light to show us if there is a desire below our level of awareness to experience secrets as a means to keep the Light out of awareness. If the Light reveals the desire to experience denial we admit the denial and ask for a miracle.
In summary, in this session we ask Jesus to reveal (secret) desires below our level of awareness that need to be released through miracles. The desires he reveals are the desire to experience fear, the desire to experience emotions as real and proof of separation, the desire for an experience of conflict, and the desire for an experience that the ego has the power to be victorious over the Light of Being. This is the desire for the experience of weakness. We stay with the desire and listen for Jesus’ instruction to let us know when we are complete in looking at the desire.
In some cases it may be helpful to go deeper with Jesus on individual desires listed in Chapter 20. If more time is needed to clear desires, set aside time in contemplation to hear his guidance for clearing them.
