Hong Kong Protester Jumps From Second Floor of Mall to Run From Police ▶️ A protester jumped from the second floor of Yuen Long shopping mall to run from riot police in Hong Kong, Tuesday, December 24.

👉 The protester was trying to avoid police capture and injured himself, according to a video shot by a student reporter at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).

Local media reported that the man was conscious as he was taken away by paramedics and has since been hospitalized.

Protests in Chinese-ruled Hong Kong have reached their seventh month.

The anti-government movement in Hong Kong, sparked by a controversial extradition law, shows no signs of abating. Protesters say they will not give up unless the government meets their political demands, which include universal suffrage and an independent investigation into police brutality.
