Let's Talk About Modern Warfare Selling A Kill-Death Ratio Tracker In A $20 Package

Let's Talk About Modern Warfare Selling A Kill-Death Ratio Tracker In A $20 Package A new furor over Call of Duty monetization has caused quite a bit of debate. An in-game watch that displays a player's kill-death ratio is included as part of a $20 premium content bundle and it's the only way to see your deaths mid-match.

In previous Call of Duty games, you could see your KD ratio at any time during play. Now, you only see it after a multiplayer match is over. While positive reasons have been cited for this change, those reasons are undermined when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is selling the feature back to people.

Some fans don't see much of a problem here, but selling something that adds previously removed functionality is dodgy, and worthy of discussion.
