Ingredients & Method
2 medium mori/shark fish deskinned and cleaned well.cut into bite sized pieces.
Apply some salt(2 tbsp) and set aside for 10 mins after that wash the fish well and rinse off the salt.
Red masala paste:10 red Kashmiri dried chillies,5 garlic cloves ,1 inch of ginger,1 tbsp of tamarind,1 tbsp each of coriander powder,pepper powder,turmeric/haldi powder and cumin powder.1/4 cup of vinegar..grind all the above to a fine paste .
In a pot add 2 tbsp of oil ,add 4 garlic cloves chopped fine,1/2 inch of ginger chopped fine and 1 medium onion chopped fine..fry well till the onions are translucent ,add the red masala paste ,fry well ,add 1 cup of water ,let the water come to a boil ,add the fish ,some salt to taste and cook till the fish is ready.you can add a dash of vinegar and a pinch of sugar(optional)
