Gun-rights activists protest gun-control legislation in US state of Virginia | ABC News

Thousands of armed gun-rights activists have rallied peacefully in the US state of Virginia to protest against new gun control laws.

There were fears that white supremacists would use the rally to stoke unrest.

But it was calm and counter-protesters stayed away.
