Self Sufficient in Suburbia December 2019

We had an unexpected delivery of logs - a nearby tree had been chopped down so the goats ate the bark and the logs themselves will eventually become firewood. Meanwhile, I continue to make pickles, I discover some old sweet chestnuts which can be used over the winter and we decide to vacate our smallest allotment as we now have plenty of land following the purchase of our small holding.
