The structure of the affirmative sentence of present perfect tense.
Structure:
Subject + have been/ has been + adjective / past participle + Extension.
or, Subject + have / has + got/ gotten / become + adjective / past participle + Extension.
Example:
He has been defeated.
Or, He has got defeated or He has become defeated.
They have been failed or, They have got failed or They have become failed.
The structure of the negative sentence of the present perfect tense.
Structure:
Subject + haven’t been/ hasn’t been + adjective / past participle + Extension.
Or, Subject+ haven’t / hasn’t + got/ gotten + become + Extension.
Example:
I haven’t been nervous.
or I haven’t got nervous or I haven’t become nervous.
