In this video, what you're witnessing is a tribal leader acknowledging and then using the name "Wakanda" to refer to the land and mountain they are custodians of. The legal capacity of the man speaking under international law, qualifies this public speech he made during a nationally publicized ceremony as an official adoption of the Name Wakanda for the holy mountain. Which is fitting because the purpose of the ceremony was to adopt black americans into the tribe anyway. He referred to Wakanda and the name elected by popular demand from America. He could have used to opportunity of press to officially correct the word (Because he knew the proper word "Wakianda", which he later revealed), but instead he was a great sport and adopted the name Wakanda in good spirits and as a show of comradery with his new adopted American sons..
