You CAN Punch with Your Back Foot Up | Lead Uppercut and Advanced Footwork

You CAN Punch with Your Back Foot Up | Lead Uppercut and Advanced Footwork You don't have to transfer weight to throw a lead uppercut. You can use this to your advantage to move your feet at the same time. Sometimes your feet end up out of whack... practicing your footwork will allow you to make adjustments for when they do.

In boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA there are lots of "rules." Sometimes these are more like ideals... and they don't always materialize under pressure. This gets confusing when you see masters of the craft making what appear to be technical mistakes... on purpose... and winning. As beginners, hobbyists, amateurs and even budding professionals... you should strive to make your punches, kicks and footwork as technically proficient as possible so that more of your technique will survive contact with the enemy.
