Sermon Outline: Reaping the Benefits of Hope
Sermon Scripture: 1 Cor. 9:10, 14, 24-27

1. What Is Hope?
a). Recognizing God in the midst of tribulation will birth hope into your life. (Jer. 17:7; Ps. 31:24; Ecc.) 9:4
b). If you don't learn to recognize God in tribulations, your situation can eventually seem "hopeless."

2. Plowing, Harvesting, and Threshing in Hope
a). To plow in hope is to prepare (your heart) for hope to come in; The importance of preparation.
b). Reap what you sow vs. reap what you sow into a prepared ground. (Matt. 13:3-9)

3. The Benefit of Hope.
(Rom. 8:24-25) Hope becomes faith but they are different. (Heb. 11:1; Rom. 5:4) No God/no hope, no Hope/no faith, no faith/can't please God. (Heb. 11:6)
