Two woman have been spotted cruising on a single mobility scooter, with one wedged between the seat and the handlebar with her feet danging over the front. The pair wanted to avoid walking into town and were spotted by Andrew Hunter in Darlington as he was travelling beside them in a van.
The video shows one woman sitting on the scooter's seat and driving the vehicle while the second passenger wearing a pink tracksuit sits at its base.
The casual pair seemed undeterred by the unusual seating arrangement while the scooter seemed to speed along normally despite the extra weight
