For any copyright, please send me a message.  Arsenal are keen on doing a loan deal for Bayern Munich veteran Jerome Boateng.  Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has limited funds to spend in January and the 31-year-old Germany defender could be a quick fix solution.  Arsenal had been linked with a permanent move early in the window but this would only be a temporary move for Boateng who has another 18 months left on his contract.  Arteta wants to rebuild his squad starting with his defence this summer as William Saliba is due to arrive from St Etienne while they remain keen on Dayot Upamecano whose contract is running down at Red Bull Leipzig and will only have a year left in the summer.
